Born in Napoli, Italy, Giovanni Maggio is a sixth-generation chef whose passion for cooking began long before his professional career. He grew up in the kitchen of his family's renowned catering company, Maggio Banqueting, surrounded by the warmth of family, the hum of conversation, and the irresistible aromas of traditional Neapolitan cuisine.
After graduating from the prestigious I.P.S.A.R.T. Don Bosco Culinary School in Napoli, Giovanni continued to refine his skills under the mentorship of some of Italy's most respected chefs. A proud member of the APCI, the Associazione Professionale Cuochi Italiani, he represents the perfect balance between tradition and innovation that defines authentic Neapolitan cooking.
Today, as Founder and Executive Chef of Cultura, Giovanni carries forward his family's legacy with heart and precision. Every dish he creates tells a story of heritage, passion, and the timeless flavors of his hometown, Napoli. His food is not just prepared; it is felt-crafted with authenticity, artistry, and the soul of six generations.
